Review Henderson 72-Hour Releases

A Henderson County 72 hour release list would collect who left local custody over a rolling three-day span. Henderson County does not publish that kind of online release window. The official jail interface shows current inmates, not people released in the last 72 hours. To cover a weekend or several days, define the dates and request the matching HCDC release entries. Custody notices, court events, and state reports can support the result, but each covers a narrower role. The destination field is vital because leaving HCDC may mean transfer rather than release to the community.

Henderson 72-Hour Release Window

No official rolling Henderson County 72-hour release view was found. HCDC’s official menu calls its tool Current Inmates. The linked JailTracker configuration returns the current jail population. It publishes no former-booking window, no release archive, and no update cadence.

A three-day query must therefore be built from records, not from a hidden filter. Set a clear beginning and ending date, identify the booking when possible, and ask HCDC for release entries in that range. For a single person, a booking-specific request is more precise than asking staff to make a new list.

The current roster is not a 72-hour feed. A missing name cannot prove when, how, or where a person left custody.

Check Henderson Three-Day Releases

The route for a weekend or three-day span starts by fixing the exact dates. “Last 72 hours” moves with the clock, while an open-records request works best with fixed calendar dates. Use the official systems according to the person’s custody class.

  1. Write the start and end dates, including the year, and list the full name and date of birth for each known person.
  2. Check current HCDC JailTracker. If a booking is still returned, save its number and do not describe the person as released.
  3. Search VINE person by person for a custody-status event, then check the Henderson court case for the legal authority.
  4. Request HCDC’s existing admission-and-release entry for the defined booking and span, including actual event time and destination.
  5. Check KDOC Daily Releases and KOOL only for the state-inmate subset. Follow a federal authority for a federal contract prisoner.

The Released Last 24 Hours route is useful for a same-day check. It also has no public Henderson feed, so changing the time span does not change the official source.

Henderson 72-Hour Record Fields

Henderson’s absent web feed has no official field inventory. The useful three-day record should instead be judged by the fields in the jail file. Request only what is needed to identify and explain each release event.

FieldWhy it matters
Full name and booking identifierTies the entry to one admission.
Admission dateSeparates repeat bookings.
Actual release date and timePlaces the event inside or outside the three-day range.
Release authorityNames the court or agency directing the action.
Release type or dispositionExplains bond, time served, probation, dismissal, or another outcome.
Destination or receiving authorityDistinguishes community release from continued custody.

Kentucky’s jail-register schedule says a closed register may include when and by whose order a prisoner was discharged, days in jail, and remarks. The cumulative record may include related court and property documents. These retained fields are stronger proof than a roster snapshot.

Henderson Weekend Release Delays

A three-day span is practical around weekends and holidays because it reduces the risk of searching only one calendar day. Yet it does not remove processing lag. A bond order or dismissal can appear before release staff finish checks, property return, paperwork, and any review for other holds.

HCDC accepts hand-delivered records requests during public business hours, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., excluding holidays. Email and mail requests may be submitted at any time, but the posted response period is five business days excluding weekends and legal holidays. A request sent over a weekend is therefore a record route, not an immediate status line.

VINE notification time can also follow the source agency’s event time. Court events explain why a release could occur, but a docket entry is not the gate log. When exact timing matters, compare the court authority with the HCDC release entry.

Note: Use fixed dates in a records request because a phrase such as “last 72 hours” changes while the request is being processed.

Order Henderson Three-Day Records

Follow the HCDC open-records procedure and use the standard written form. An inmate-record request must state full name and date of birth. Ask for existing release entries within the fixed span, not for answers to questions or a newly compiled analysis.

Include a mailing address and request the actual release time, category, authority, and destination for each named booking. The jail’s records email is reserved for record submissions and does not answer status questions. The response should state whether material is inspectable, withheld, unavailable, or expected later.

Inspection by appointment is free. Posted fees are ten cents per black-and-white page. Electronic material is free, but content above 4 MB is placed on a one-dollar CD. Postage and production are invoiced and prepaid. Recheck the policy when filing because office terms can change.

Henderson Release Records Outlast Rosters

Henderson’s current-only display is temporary, while the underlying file has a formal retention rule. KDLA series L2751 retains the cumulative inmate file for five years after release. It may contain admission and release information, a photograph, court material, property slips, and other booking records, subject to exemptions.

The official HCDC request page shows the local route for reaching those records:

Henderson County 72-hour release record request procedure

This retained-file route remains available after a former booking stops appearing in the operational roster, though it is not an instant rolling list.

Access is not automatic for every component. Medical, juvenile, confidential, and security material can be restricted. A focused request for the release entry reduces the chance that unrelated protected material slows review.

Compare Henderson Release Sources

Several official sources can touch the same three-day period without covering the same population. The safest result states which source produced which fact.

SourceCoverageProof value
HCDC JailTrackerPeople currently returned in the mixed jail populationCurrent custody only; absence proves nothing
HCDC release recordA named local bookingBest actual event and destination record
KDOC Daily ReleasesKDOC-classified people, including some released from HCDCState release type and releasing facility
KOOLKentucky corrections custody or supervisionStrong for state status, not all county stays
VINEParticipating-agency custody eventsSupporting notice, not a certified archive

KDOC Daily Releases can show DOC number, name, release type, releasing facility, and highest felony class. Henderson releases have appeared in these daily PDFs. The reports remain a state-inmate subset and cannot be relabeled as a Henderson County 72-hour list.

Henderson Release or Transfer

HCDC’s population can include county, Kentucky state, and federal prisoners. Release from the local jail’s control can mean community release, but it can also mean movement to another jail, KDOC, the U.S. Marshals, or another authority. The destination field resolves that ambiguity.

Community release
The person leaves confinement under bond, time served, probation, dismissal, or another valid order.
Transfer
Physical custody moves to another agency, so confinement continues.
Discharge
A custody or supervision term ends under the governing record; it is not simply removal from a roster.
Detainer
Another authority asks that custody be held or transferred for its matter.

A state prisoner should be followed in KOOL after transfer or release. A federal contract prisoner may require the U.S. Marshals or BOP route. A short-stay county detainee belongs primarily in the HCDC release entry and Henderson court case.
